Marveta Sears Ondriezek
September 11, 1930 - March 15, 2012
Marveta Viola Sears Ondriezek, 81 passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Memorial University Medical Center. She was a native of Hastings, Michigan and lifelong resident of Savannah. She was a member of the First Assembly of God and a very faithful church worker.
She held memberships in the Auxiliaries of the American Legion George K. Gannam Post 184, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 660, and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 8.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald L. Everson, daughter, Kathleen Everson, and step-son, Robert Ondriezek.
Surviving are her husband, Oscar C. Ondriezek, two sons, Kenneth D. and Yvonne Everson and John E. and Lucy Everson, two stepsons, Mark S. and Connie Ondriezek and Christopher L. and Cathy Ondriezek, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday March 18, 2012 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church with The Rev. Cecil Gray officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
